For over 100 years, Eagle Bank has been a community bank with local ownership. Eagle Bank’s main office is located in Glenwood, Minnesota, along the north shore of Minnesota’s 13th largest lake, Lake Minnewaska.
In 1980, Eagle Bank opened its second branch location in neighboring Villard, Minnesota. Eagle Bank went on to acquire banks in Elbow Lake, Minnesota and Wendell, Minnesota in 1995. The addition of these two banks in neighboring Grant County prompted the name change from Pope County State Bank to Eagle Bank. Then in 2014, Eagle Bank acquired a bank in neighboring Starbuck, Minnesota bringing the total number of branch locations to five.
